Prenuptial Agreements

Prenuptial agreements, also known as premarital agreements or simply “prenups,” are contracts between soon-to-be spouses and resolve a number of issues in the event of sudden death or a divorce. These agreements can be invaluable to protecting the spouse’s estates, children from other relationships, and anticipated earnings.

California law strictly regulates these agreements and requires that they fit a certain set of rules. Our office understands the requirements to make these agreements legally binding in Court. You can count on us to negotiate a fair contract for you that protects your rights and that will enforceable should it be needed in a hearing.
